Each spring during the annual conference, Great Plains IDEA recognizes outstanding members of our community for their contributions to the alliance, their field, or higher education. Nominees may be submitted through these online nomination forms throughout the year.

Friend of Great Plains IDEA
- Nominees may represent any part of the organization - former or current board member, faculty, staff, functional team member, community member, or any other contributing individual, and may be internal or external to the alliance.
- Nominations are welcome from all members of the Great Plains IDEA community.
- To submit a nomination please have the nominee's contact information and a written synopsis of the nominee's contributions to Great Plains IDEA. See the form for details about nomination requirements.

Faculty Excellence Award
- This award recognizes full-time/tenure-track or special faculty members at an alliance partner or member university who have made an outstanding contribution to the success of academic programs in Great Plains IDEA.
- Nominations are welcome from all members of the Great Plains IDEA community.
- To submit a nomination please have the faculty member's CV, a summary of why he or she should be recognized, and two endorsement letters. See the form for details about nomination requirements.
