Biography

Deana Hildebrand is associate professor and associate department head in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Oklahoma State University. Her expertise is in the areas of community and public health nutrition; nutrition policy, systems, and environments; school and child care nutrition programs; and nutrition education.

She received the Outstanding Advisor Award in the Oklahoma State University College of Human Sciences in 2017.  She was awarded the Outstanding Community Engagement Award in the OSU College of Human Sciences in 2018.

The College of Human Sciences at OSU honored her as a nominee in 2018 for the Regents' Distinguished Teaching Award and as 2018 nominee for Outstanding Graduate Faculty Mentor Award.

OSU also honored her as a 2018 nominee for for the Sternberg Award for Excellence in Advancing the Land Grant Mission.This was her second nomination for the award, as she won the Sternberg Award for Excellence in Advancing the Land Grant Mission in 2013.
