Lauri Baker teaches courses related to agricultural and environmental communication. Her research focus is related to the use of new media to influence publics.
She currently serves as the graduate program coordinator for her department, and she is a representative of the graduate council. Baker established the Center for Rural Enterprise Engagement in February of 2015, and she is actively involved in the research, grant work, and teaching through CREE. She teaches and advises students around the world through the AG IDEA program.
